On 2006, the world learned that 100 horses were stranded on an island in Holanada.
A storm filled with sea water desert area outside the dikes of Marrum. Sadly, 19 horses died as a result, while the remaining horses ended up stranded in a low mound of earth for three days. News of the story spread throughout the world, but rescue efforts failed. The horses had to be transported by water to a safe area, but no one could find a way to do this. Another storm was approaching, and the horses probably would not have survived, but it was then that a group of 7 riders found women online decided to carry out a plan to rescue these horses. Look what they did these brave women: Susan, Christina, Micky, Hinke, Antje and Fardow, to save the lives of the majestic animals.
